Joji Tsunada Lab @ Chinese Institute for Brain Research

Laboratory technician positions are available in the Tsunada Lab at the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing (CIBR, www.cibr.ac.cn). The Tsunada Lab is a research group studying vocal communication and its disorders in humans and non-human primates. We are looking for highly-motivated laboratory technicians who can support our research using non-human primates, marmoset monkeys. Responsibilities include taking care of marmoset monkeys daily, maintaining health and enrichment records, arranging and preparing semi-annual physical tests, helping to set up a research environment for behavioral experiments, and supporting lab members’ behavioral and neurophysiological experiments.

Qualifications (required)

1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English (English is the primary language used at CIBR).

2) BA/BS or equivalent experience and training.

3) Prior experience for scientific experiments with animals or humans.

4) Strong interest in monkeys, in their behavior and their well-being.

5) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with lab members.

Qualifications (preferred)

1) Prior lab experience working with monkeys.

2) Previous experience in behavioral and neuroscience research.

3) Prior veterinary technician experience.

4) Engineering background (software, hardware) would be pulse.

Tsunada实验室是专门研究人类和非人灵长类动物的声音交流和障碍的团队，隶属于北京脑科学与类脑研究中心（CIBR，www.cibr.ac.cn）。现招聘实验室技术员2名，支持我们在非人灵长类动物-狨猴领域的研究，要求他们积极进取，主要职责包括照顾狨猴的日常生活，维持狨猴的健康和福利，并组织安排狨猴每半年一次的体检；另外需要他们为实验室建立行为学实验的科研环境，以及协助实验室人员操作行为学和神经生理学实验。 开始日期不晚于2021年12月1日。

任职要求（必需）：

1）具备出色的英语书写和交流能力（英语是CIBR使用的主要语言）；

2）本科或同等学位；

3）具备动物或人类相关的科学实验经历

4）对猴子的行为和福利有浓厚的兴趣

5）具备良好的个人交际和团队协调的能力。

3）有兽医技术员的经历

薪酬福利
